Colchester’s midfield Pocket Battleship Kemal Izzet is fit to face Leeds at Elland Road this weekend.
Izzet was substituted on Saturday against Cardiff City as a precaution.
‘It was my bad ankle which I’ve struggled with for two years,’ Izzet told the club’s website.
‘We were 2-1 up and the last thing I wanted was to not be able to run around and chase, and cost us the equaliser.
‘It was a precaution both on my part and the team’s part. I’ll be back in training on Thursday and should be back.’
