The Colchester United FC ticket office say it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a seat for next week`s tie against Premiership Aston Villa.
Good sales are put down to it being the U`s only home friendly of the summer as United fans anticipate watching an array of future stars and some established top-flight players.
Despite Villa`s manager Martin O`Neil enjoying a good friendship with U`s manager Paul Lambert from their time at Celtic, the visitors may well rest players as they travel initially to Spain for a pre-season Peace Cup competition. They then face upcoming Europa Cup qualifiers.
Villa have an away allocation of bewteen 1,760 and 1,940 for the match. Admission is £15 for adults, £10 for student / OAP tickets and £5 for children. There will be three coach-loads of away fans making the trip to Essex, sister fanzine Vital Aston Villa have confirmed.
Kick-off at the Weston Homes Community Stadium is 7-45 PM, on Tuesday July 21.
Any away fans wishing to make the trip have until tomorrow to purchase a ticket, according to the Aston Villa Official Website.
