MARK YEATES, Colchester United’s Irish wing-wizard, has once again been named in the League One Team Of The Week.
Yeates ran the show in the first half at Hereford United and scored a cracking free-kick, as well as playing a vital part in the U’s second goal.
The 23-year-old now has twelve goals to his name this season and is three short of his season’s goal-target tally.
And Yeates revealed, post-match: ‘I’ve set myself a target of 15 goals for the season, and I reckon I can still make it.
‘It was nice to score from another free-kick. There was a possibility that Simon Hackney was going to float it into the box, but the gaffer has encouraged me to take them if I fancy them, and I’m not shy in having a shot!’

VITAL COLCHESTER IS 100% UNOFFICIAL – FOR THE FANS, BY THE FANS!
Rarely does much during a game and scores then gets in the team of the week!
Yeah, I still cant decide whether we’re better without him or not. I would play him just behind Platt and then have two natural wingers on the wings otherwise with Yeates on the wing we sometimes lack width.
