Colchester United have offered Ademola Bankole a full-time coaching role.
Bankole has been given the chance to take over from Aiden Davison as the U’s goalkeeping coach. The former Nigerian international filled in for the injured Davison, who has now moved to America in pursuit of a coaching role, and impressed manager Geraint Williams.
Williams told the Colchester Gazette: ‘We made Ademola an offer to stay and he’s gone away to think about it.
‘He has worked very hard with Dean Gerken and it was important that they gelled together.’

…And may you rest in peace, what a nail in the coffin that is. One of the worst goalkeepers to grace a QPR Shirt.
Great! I hope he doesn’t play for us!!
Well yeah not sure whether we will register him as our third keeper or not. Cousins might og on loan so dunno whether Williams is in the market for as new keeper maybe?
