Colchester United came away from Aidy Boothroyd`s second consecutive away outing as manager with a point against Swindon this afternoon.

The final score was 1-1.

Winger Ashley Vincent opened the scoring after twenty minutes, injuring himself through scoring.

That effort was cancelled out by an equaliser, converted by Temitope Obadeyi, after an unfortunate slip during from indecisive defending by John White in first-half stoppage time.

The point keeps Colchester in early top-six contention as they await their first home game since Boothroyd succeeded the controversial Paul Lambert.
