John White and Matt Heath, loaned to Southend, are set to feature tonight as Colchester`s fiercest rivals play Premier League Hull City.
While White faces a last fitness test, fellow defender Heath is an almost certain starter for tonight’s Second Round League Cup tie. Both have yet to miss a match this team as they crossed Essex in search of both first-team action.
Their loan deals expire towards the end of August but it is unknown as to what the future holds.
Colchester fans have recent history of a chequered nature with both sides, so interest might be high, even if it will be difficult to know which side to cheer on for a win!
