Colchester United manager Geraint Williams has revealed forward Jamie Guy is still part of his plans.
Guy had been linked with a £100,000 move to League One side’s Crewe Alexandra and Leyton Orient, but the U’s are yet to receive a formal offer for the powerful front-man.
Williams told The Colchester Gazette: ‘I would like Jamie to stay and he’s in my plans for next season.
‘There are a lot of things a young man has to weigh up when considering his future.’
However, Williams admitted that Guy feels a move away may be best for him: ‘He has said to me that he feels he may need to move on but I disagree with that.
‘If a club was to come in with an offer that was acceptable – and Jamie wanted to go – then we would have to consider it.
‘That has always been our policy.’
So will Guy be a U’s player next season? We want to know YOUR thoughts?

Good! Very happy to read that he has a U’s future!
Yeah me too, in League One think he will be ok: A good threat off the bench, if hits form will probably start a few games, but the thing is does he want to stay????? up the U’s!
£100k is good money for him. I think he is destined for another season of coming off the bench. Never going to be higher in the pecking order than Lisbie, Vernon or Platt.
Yeah if he stays, think he’ll have to settle for a ten minute spell off the bench at the end of games.
