Colchester United manager Geraint Williams has admitted that another foward will join the club before the new season begins.
In new signings Clive Platt and Teddy Sheringham, as well as Jamie Guy, the club have three target men, and Willimas confimed that Colchester are on the lookout for one other to make the quartet.
He described getting another foward as ‘a priority’ in Monday’s Evening Gazette, also admitting that the defence was ‘slightly inexperienced’ following the loss of Wayne Brown to Hull City.

We need someone with a bit of pace.
yeah that’s true StevieG but who?
Not vernon, as people have been saying!
No we’ve had im b4. He was ok but did nothing special!
Lewis Guy from Doncaster!
If Ephraim comes back play 4-3-3, with target man and Yeatesy and Ephraim either side. Yeatesy and Watson missed training today (wednesday).
4-3-3 becomes 4-5-1 to easily for my liking esp when you have the big man up front!
4-5-1 when defending then 4-3-3 when your on the break! Nice and versitile!
