Colchester United owner Robbie Cowling and his wife Cheryl are the 759th richest people in the UK, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
The Cowling duo were last year named the 659th richest nationally, but have fallen down the list this time round. They are ranked the 19th richest people in East Anglia, with a fortune worth £105 million.
Robbie Cowling, 47, owns online recruitment company Jobserve, while his wife has other wealth. He took over as U’s owner in 2006, following their promotion to the Championship.
