Fox: No City Move – I LOVE COL U

Rumours that Colchester United man David Fox could be set to jump ship and join Paul Lambert at Norwich City appear to be just that – rumours!

The box-to-box midfielder inked a three-year contract earlier this summer, on a free transfer, which seems like a real steel, after an impressive start to U’s life.

And after Lambert’s disgusting departure to City, there was speculation that Fox, who was signed by the Scot, and possibly want-away midfielder David Perkins, could be set to head up the A140 to Carrow Road.

However, as quoted on the official website, Fox said, when referring to Lambert: ‘Yes, he signed me but I want to do the best I can for myself, the club and the fans now, not the old manager.’

Fox also revealed how the U’s squad have been drawn closer together following the events of the last week or so.

‘If anything, it brings the players closer together and we all realise that we have to stick together and do all we can to help Joe,’ Fox added.

I, as you may well have noticed, am not that fond of Lambert but I would like to take this opportunity to thank for him bringing a very-good player to Colchester, in Fox.

Well more rumours, as the article, states! Doesn’t appear to be much in it luckily! Lambert loves the lad! Yep, seems a good player who is enjoying his football.
