Colchester United Dean Hammond midfielder felt that the U`s were the better in team, in last night`s defeat to fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday.
Hammond, who impressed once again last night, admitted things are not going Colchester`s way at present, after a loss that was the U`s fifth in a row.
Hammond told the EADT: ‘It’s not for want of trying. I thought we were the better team. Sheffield Wednesday were not as good as us, but once again things have not fallen for us. That happens when you are at the bottom.’
