Colchester United new-boy Matt Heath believes the U`s have ‘a lot going for them next season` and has not ruled out a permanent move.
Heath arrived at Layer Road on loan from League One side Leeds United on Friday and made his U`s debut against Cardiff city on Saturday.
Speaking to The Colchester Gazette, he said: ‘I just want to play football and whatever happens, happens.’
‘It’s a great club with great team spirit and there’s a lot going for Colchester next season too.’ Heath, 26, insisted.
‘The team spirit is still high. For a club to be bottom of the league you expect everyone to be down but it’s not like that at all.’
‘We just want to get as many points as possible and you never know what could happen.’ He added.
