Colchester United winger Mark Yeates’ reported move to Crystal Palace has stalled after Yeates failed a medical at Selhurst Park.
Yeates, 23, is still suffering from a long-term shoulder injury which he picked up in early February. The former Tottenham man has been subject of intense speculation linking him with a transfer to Palace, while Watford and Nottingham Forest have also been mentioned.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock told the Croyden Advertiser: ‘We’ve spoken to Mark about a move – but he has a major problem with his shoulder.
‘It’s something that needs to be sorted out – but we won’t know now for another three to four weeks.’
So will Yeates be leaving? We want to know YOUR thoughts?

Would you prefer him to stay at Colchester or are you just waitng for the inevitable transfer once his injury as cleared up.
I don’t think we would miss him too much. He shot when he should have passed and passed when he should have shot in his last few games before getting injured. Was a little selfish too and I think the pressure got to him after the press geared us up as a one man team after he scored a few free-kicks.
Well he went on a real good run of form early in the season but after missing a penalty at Ipswich his form dipped. Still think he would be very good in League One, would be sad to see him go.
