Colchester`s current top scorer Kevin Lisbie, who has ten goals, is a doubt for Tuesday`s clash with Preston North End after limping out of the game with Burnley yesterday.

The forward was unable to continue his run of scoring, which previously stood at four goals in as many games since the turn of the year.

“Kev`s turned his ankle, he`s had it iced. It`s not too bad, but whether Tuesday will come too soon, we`ll have to leave that with Flynny for the minute. (club Physio, Tony Flynn),” said manager Geraint Williams on BBC Essex at full-time.

The Welshman also revealed that Hungarian Bela Balogh picked up a similar injury in advance of the weekend`s match, else he would have been on the bench.

The U’s will be looking to beat Presnton, who won yesterday, in order to haul themselves from the bacement placing in the Championship.
