Here`s a teaser question for you – should Colchester United`s forgotten man, in the shape of full-back John White, go out on-loan?
A restricted amount of appearances chalked up last term, a handful this term; surely the young man would be better out on-loan playing regular football and gaining valuable experience.
The 21-year-old was a regular in The U`s historic promotion winning campaign, two seasons ago, but since then has fallen down the pecking order. White can play anywhere across the back-four, he can also be deployed in a central midfield position, and so is quite a versatile player.
I have a lot of sympathy for White, a former club trainee, who made his U`s debut in 2004. With George Elokobi, Pat Baldwin, Matt Connelly, Adam Virgo, Bela Balogh, Danny Granville and skipper Karl Duguid ahead of him in the defensive pecking order, some might rightly ask; why isn`t he out on loan?

I reckon a short term loan deal would be a good idea.
He does need to keep playing. Give him a month or two somwhere! He’s quite versatile!
Yeah sounds good to me, do you reckon George looks on here for what to do next?
Doogie and Watson have both said they look at fan sites! Dunno, not like he’s busy managing a club or anything!
