Colchester United have a great history of giant-killing in the world`s oldest knock-out competition, the FA Cup, and will be entered as ball number thirteen in tomorrow`s third round draw.
During the club`s most recent promotion season Colchester faced Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and also beat non-league Lemington 9-1, which was a joint-record highest score of all time.
Now, due to the club`s Championship status, they enter automatically at the third round and will expect to better than they faired against Barnet last term.
The draw takes place tomorrow afternoon on the BBC and the U`s rivals Ipswich (number 20) and Norwich City (27).

A home tie is what you want, lets hope it’s not us as you are our boogey team!!
Well put – but we’re not really!
Always seem to struggle against you guy’s. When you beat us 4-0 last season that got sturrock the sack, now you go and end our six game unbeaten run, to me that makes you one of our bogey teams. 🙁

Those were the days… *sigh*
Yeah three long-range efforts….Halford….Duguid….Iwelumo….well remembered….
