With the loan market set to close on Thursday, will Colchester United manager Geraint Williams make a move to sign:

A pacy striker? An experienced defender? A creative midfielder?

Or will he stick with his current crop of players, as the U`s prepare to face a hefty schedule of nine games in just over five weeks, through to the New Year.

The U`s have been linked with a loan move for West Ham youngster Hogan Eiphram, who started a fruitful six-month loan spell with the U`s around this time last year, but last week the talented England youth international stated his desire to stay and fight for his place at Upton Park, after returning from a three-month loan spell with London side QPR.

If ‘George’ does decide to delve into the loan market, will he go the basis: We`re conceding too many at the back? We need another striking option? We need an extra spark in midfield?
